Try These Great Restaurants and Bars in Ouray Colorado

Ouray is a great place to visit. Since I live in Montrose, it's so close. I find myself there at least once a month. So I've tried a few restaurants.

What do you look for in a great dining experience?

The food, service, and atmosphere.

Does cost matter?

If it's great food, it doesn't. If the service is poor, it can ruin the whole experience.

Do you like great scenery while dining?

Well, Ouray is your place. You will not be disappointed. There are great options, from steaks to seafood, Thai food, and plenty of upscale bar food. Even a great burger joint.

I recommend for a first-time date the Ouray Brewery is great, or Goldbelt Bar and Grill. If you are celebrating something special, the Outlaw Steakhouse is so good. There are plenty of great drinks at these restaurants too. Don't forget at the end of the night to stop by Mouses Chocolates, for a treat.

One of my favorite parts is the drive from Ridgway to Ouray. The beauty is endless.
