The storm had nearly all of the Front Range barricaded inside their homes, producing one of the highest recorded snowfalls in Colorado history.

Greeley received 17 inches of snow, and Fort Collins and Loveland got a combined 50 inches. Buckhorn Mountain alone saw a whoppin' 42.

Perhaps you remember the event like the back of your hand, or maybe you've tried to forget it (if that's the case, then you probably shouldn't have clicked this).

Either way, we're looking back on some of the great videos Coloradans captured of winter storm Xylia:

If only it only lasted this long.

The animals had fun (especially the Denver Zoo lions).

The storm hit Wyoming too.

The memories of getting stuck in the snow and shoveling for hours are already coming back to us.

Other Northern Colorado residents captured the storm on camera, sharing photos of ice-covered bicycles and three-foot-tall snowdrifts — the "hurricane magnet" Jim Cantore even came to the Centennial State to check out the madness.
