Bold Move: Small Man in ‘Snake Hat’ Has Pulled off 5 Colorado Bank Heists Since January
The FBI is on the lookout for a man who is not tall, nor big, but is brave enough to have pulled off "heists" at five banks in the Denver area. Does he have some insight as to how to get away with it?
Maybe you can help the authorities track down this guy. Being less that six-feet tall, he won't be the "big" guy, and it sounds like he could use a good meal to put some meat on his bones. Also, what's with the hat?
The FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force put out a release on March 15, 2023, that they are looking for the public's assistance in tracking this serial bank robber down. They have dubbed him the "Snakebit Bandit," because he's worn a hat with a snake on it during each robbery.
It's unclear if it's the same "snake" hat, or if there are several. I bring it up, because sometime guys like to collect "styles" of hats - "Today, I think I'll wear my Cobra hat, since I wore my Python hat, yesterday."

WHAT IS THE SUSPECT'S DESCRIPTION?
- White Male.

Funny thing is, if these heists were going down in the Fort Collins area, I could be a suspect: I'm thin, short and weigh about 150 lbs. I do not own any snake hats, however.
At five robberies, and up to 20 years in prison for each, this guy is already looking at a possible 100 years. Will he go for 200 years?
