A 15,000-Square-Foot Chicken Restaurant is Now Open in Denver, Colorado
Could this possibly be the biggest chicken restaurant in the world? We're not sure.
What we do know is that the food looks absolutely amazing at this new southern-style restaurant.
Yardbird, the highly anticipated restaurant in Denver, Colorado, opened its doors for dinner service on Monday, Aug. 21. The brunch service at Yardbird starts on Saturday, Aug. 26, and the lunch service will begin on Monday, Aug. 28.
Yardbird Denver is the newest location joining the ranks of Dallas, Texas, Washington D.C., Los Angeles, California, Chicago, Illinois, and Singapore. At just a few feet shy of an exact 15,000 square feet, Denver's Yardbird is the most prominent location at 14,950 square feet at 2743 Blake Street.
Yardbird restaurants have accumulated quite the list of accolades too. Here are just a few of the top honors that Yardbird has:

With top honors such as those, the food has to be good.
Yardbird's signature dish, Chicken & Waffles, is served up with honey hot sauce, chilled spiced watermelon, and bourbon maple syrup on a Vermont sharp cheddar cheese waffle.
Other notable mentions from the menu include the Coal-Fired Octopus, Lobster Mac and Cheese, 72-Hour Short Ribs, and the Calabrian Chili Cavatelli.
Of course, we couldn't leave out the most expensive item on the menu. Coming in at $250, the Coal Fire Roasted 64 Oz. Double Tomahawk. This entree is served with Burnt End Cowboy Butter and Truffle Fingerling Potatoes. This Entree, although expensive, serves four to six guests.
