Winter Wonderland Getaway to Glenwood Springs

Christmas is upon us in just a few short weeks and what fun are the Holiday getaways? A night or two away could be just what you need to get away from the stress of shopping, hosting, and more. Glenwood  Springs is a great quaint town, and just up the road an hour from Grand Junction. I spent an anniversary weekend there in March and loved the Hotel Colorado. Filled with rich history, though it may be slightly haunted. They are doing pictures with Santa in the Devereux room for the Holidays.

From the Hotel Colorado, you can stroll across the bridge to downtown eateries and bars. There's a fantastic variety! You can enjoy fine dining accompanied by award-winning wines. You can eat casually and enjoy craft cocktails and beers. There's entertainment, too. All to make a winter getaway in Glenwood Springs a fantastic adventure.

Now, how about the Glenwood Springs winter Hot Springs? Also, the Glenwood Springs pool is a splash-worthy landing pad for outdoor fun. The Ironwood Hot Springs features 16 soaking pools, each one a different shape. Don't get me started on the Glenwood adventure park and plenty of skiing at Sunlight Mountain Resort. Glenwood Springs is a great getaway for the Holiday Season.
