What Brought This Up?

This weekend I drank what could possibly have been the worst cup of coffee I've ever had in my life. What's even more disturbing is that I'm the one who made it.

If you're at all like me, you consider the trip to the local coffee house to be one of the highlights of your week. Depending on a person's finances, a trip to Starbucks, The Human Bean, or one of the many chain or local coffee houses can be something of a daily ritual. For some, the thought of a delicious cup of coffee is the one and only thing offering the motivation needed to get out of bed in the morning.

It never fails; there's always that one person. Just like similar posts such as Nasty 1-Star Reviews of the Colorado River or Nasty 1-Star Reviews of Colorado's Clothing Optional Hot Springs, there's that one person who feels the need to share their bad experience.

With most of these reviews, the negative experience was an isolated case. More often than not, the complaints revolve around the coffee shop's business hours or the cost of the beverage options. In a few instances, though, the reviewer had something bizarre to share. The gallery below contains a handful of really weird and amusing 1-star Google Reviews. As stated, these are very much the exception, and ultimately, are good for a chuckle.

Nasty 1-Star Google Reviews of Colorado's Nastiest Coffee Shops

In my experience, coffee is like pizza, sex, and Star Trek in that even when it's bad, it's still pretty good. As a matter of fact, it's hard to recall the last time I had a bad cup of coffee at a shop or restaurant.

Judging by reviews posted on Google, evidence exists indicating some shops have been known to serve less-than-exquisite coffee. In some instances, the coffee was fine, but the staff was rude.

Some Google reviews were bitter (pun intended) while others were flat-out ridiculous. For your daily laugh, here's a look at some nastilicious 1-star Google Reviews of Colorado coffee houses. Keep in mind, most of these reviews are absolutely absurd, and this is all in fun.
