What does Montrose have that other places may not?

There is a Drive-in theater. That's unheard of in most places today. Star Drive-In is open May thru early October for over 70 years.

Did you know there are carriage rides in Montrose?

I love seeing people riding around in a Horse carriage. It's more of a summer thru fall activity. I haven't been in one since I visited New Orleans years ago.

Are you looking for an Old Museum?

The Museum of the Mountain West is worth the visit. Such cool old buildings, an old-style general store, and more to still around and check out.

Have you ever wanted to Fly Fish?

Ed's fly shop has just what you need in Downtown Montrose. How cool to be on vacation and learn and do something fun.

Montrose Colorado is also centrally located to many cool towns like Ouray, Telluride, Gunnison, and Grand Junction, just to name a few. Make sure to stop by Horsefly, definitely the local's place.
