The footage was posted to YouTube by Distortions Unlimited, and features a special news story from Channel 7 that originally aired in the late 1990s.

Despite being decades old, it's remarkable to see the intricate detail that was put into making these creepy creations, as well as take a tour behind the scenes to watch how Distortions Unlimited does it.

As mentioned above, the company was founded in 1978 by Ed Edmunds who still operates the business with his wife Marsha at a nondescript warehouse at 517 13th Street in Greeley, Colorado.

In the footage, Edmunds speaks about his fascination with sci-fi and horror, a fascination that he's had since childhood.

Distortions Unlimited makes creepy Halloween masks featuring vampires, zombies, and even elephants, as well as haunted house creatures and decorations. The footage originally taken in the 1990s shows many of these masks and haunted house creations, and even takes viewers inside one of the haunted houses that were using them at the time, a haunted house called Brutal Planet.

Take a virtual tour back in time to see what it was like at Colorado's Distortions Unlimited back in the 1990s as featured on Channel 7 News:
