If you've lived in Colorado long enough, or are a fan of the TV show South Park, you're most likely familiar with the iconic restaurant known as Casa Bonita.
Well, a unique opportunity for fans of the restaurant, and artists, is coming to Colorado in the form of a Casa Bonita-themed art show. Keep scrolling to learn what to expect, as well as how to enter your artwork into the show.
Colorado's Iconic Casa Bonita Has its Own Art Show
The show will take place this year between February 17th and March 4th at NEXT Gallery in the Denver suburb of Lakewood, specifically at 6501 W Colfax Ave, Lakewood, CO 80214.
Believe it or not, the show has been showcasing the legendary restaurant since 2017, which was prior to the creators of South Park, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, purchasing the restaurant. Since its inception, the art show has gone by the name of "Mi Casa es Su Casa."
While the art show officially opens on February 17th, you can still submit entries into the show until this coming Monday, February 6th via Casa Bonita's official website.
If you've never been to this type of art show, you can expect a wide array of Casa Bonita-themed artwork including numerous paintings and mosaics of the building, replicas of the inside of the restaurant, and even some South Park-themed pieces as well.
As mentioned above, this year's 'Mi Casa es Su Casa' art show opens February 17th, but you can take a virtual tour of last year's show below in the meantime:
