After being seized by the city back in January, this popular Main Street fast food staple is officially back open for business and ready to fill your belly.
Why Was Windsor, Colorado's Taco Bell Seized And Closed?
Back in February, we reported here that the Main Street Taco Bell in Windsor was seized due to non-payment of sales tax and the town of Windsor's certificate of registration was revoked as seen in the pix below.
The city seized the building in January and it has been closed since then. I noticed some activity there a couple of months ago when I was driving to work so I drove by to get a closer look...
When I pulled up, what I saw was a crew gutting the seized Taco Bell building, and doing the much-needed updates to this incredibly outdated location to re-open its doors in time for the summer rush. I can now confirm that this Main Street favorite is back open and ready to serve you.
Windsor Taco Bell On Main Street Is Back
After some painting of the exterior of the building and new signs, as well as some much-needed updates to the interior as well, the Main Street Taco Bell in Windsor has a giant "Now Open" sign out front and has officially opened its doors again to the public... The closest Taco Bell in the area was on Crossroads so this news is sure to make the Windsor Taco Bell lovers extremely happy. So... What are you doing for lunch?
