Paranormal Spirits Haunt Montrose Colorado
Are you a fan of the Paranormal? I've been watching paranormal shows since Ghost Adventures debuted in 2004. My favorites also include Ghost Hunters, Kindred Spirits, Portals to Hell, and Destination Fear. I have many favorite investigators also. Too many to name.
Montrose Brings Paranormal Show To Museum
As you can imagine when I moved here in March 2018, I was excited to see Zac Bagans and the crew from Ghost Adventures on an episode at The Museum of The Mountain West. The Museum is located just outside of Montrose. The episode had lots of coverage in various buildings. When they were there investigating they were able to uncover the property's paranormal history. They even gathered evidence of a dangerous entity.
Montrose's Story of the River Witch
Montrose might be friendly, but the history and hauntings go beyond what you'll find at a museum. There's the story of the 'River Witch'. There was a house a hundred years ago that belonged to a lady who had five children and lost a baby in the river. It's said if you are down at Riverbottom, you can hear that woman crying on full moon nights.
The Haunting of Downtown Montrose's Fox Theater
There's also a long-standing belief that the Fox Theater in downtown Montrose is haunted. Supposedly, there was a shooting that occurred and the Fox staff years ago said that even after cleaning, and leaving no trash, when they came back the next day there were popcorn and candy wrappers on the floor
If you are a fan of the paranormal or not, what places do you think should be added to this list?
