In our communities, there are certain people that we can count on no matter the situation. Someone who is there for us during the unthinkable. At times, this is someone we already know, but almost as often it’s a stranger who lends us a hand when we most need it, and least expect it.
1776 Contractors and Townsquare Media want to honor those unsung heroes with the recognition they deserve. These are the people who are the true heartbeat of the community, but who may not be known to each other because of the selfless nature of their actions. They are the helping hand that we need, whether in the middle of the day or the middle of the night. From these moments of desperation come the moments where people can truly shine.
Whether your Hometown Hero is a neighbor, a first responder, a military veteran, a teacher, a volunteer, or just someone who has done a selfless act out of the kindness of their heart when they saw a need, please nominate them so they can get the recognition they deserve.
1776 Contractors in Delta have teamed up with Townsquare Media Montrose to honor these true difference-makers as Hometown Heroes. Every month, one nominee will be selected to receive a prize and recognition for their service to the community.
