Colorado Big Box Stores Closing for One Day in 2024
While convenient for those who don't have to work, it can be disheartening to see people dressed in full uniform, taking your order on big holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Well, one of the biggest retailers, if not the biggest, in Colorado will be closing its doors this coming Thanksgiving, carrying on a practice adopted during the pandemic.
Walmart has announced that for the fourth year in a row, it will be shuttering on Thanksgiving Day in order to give its employees an opportunity to spend the holiday with loved ones, away from the blue and gray shopping carts and checkout lines.
In addition, Target has announced that it will also be closing its doors for the entire duration of Thanksgiving Day for the same reason.
So, make sure you stock up on turkey and stuffing at least one day prior to Thanksgiving Day if you're planning on doing your shopping at either of these major retailers this year.
