The highest profile case of which easily is the Boars Head recall, which has given people in Colorado and across the country listeria, a brutal bacterial infection.

It’s not just food products that have been recalled here as well. For example, Amazon recalled quite a few different items this summer for safety.

Also this summer, there was a marijuana recall that affected moldy weed that was sold all across the Front Range.

However, it would appear that there is yet another serious recall that is striking Colorado, with this one being around one of the most popular items in the grocery store.

Salmonella Found in Colorado Eggs

In a recent report from the CDC, it was found that eggs that have been sold in 9 different states have been found to have been contaminated with Salmonella.

The eggs were recalled from a company called Milo’s Poultry Farms LLC, and are either labeled under Milo’s Poultry Farms or as Tony’s Fresh Market.

Even though the company is based out of Wisconsin, eggs from Milo’s Poultry Farms LLC have been distributed throughout Colorado.

At the moment, there have been 65 total cases, with 24 people needing to be hospitalized.

If you find these eggs sitting in your fridge, you need to remove them immediately.

Salmonella Symptoms

The main symptoms people feel when they have Salmonella is intense stomach pains and cramps, fever, and diarrhea.

If infected, it could take anywhere between 6 hours and 6 days to feel symptoms.

While most people can get through it without going to the hospital, the CDC warns of the danger of people below the age of 5 and above 65 getting it, due to weakened immune systems.
