Crazy Popular Smoothie Chain Set to Increase Presence in Colorado
While Colorado has always been a fantastic place for awesome local offerings, there are plenty of beloved national chains here as well.
However, in many cases, we hear all about how they’re starting to close down shop.
For example, Walgreens, which has hundreds of stores in Colorado, is about to close a massive 1,200 stores nationally, with many in Colorado already closing its doors.
When we start to get new chains, though, it’s always exciting.
Whether it’s a well-renowned one like In-N-Out or up-and-comers like Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii opening new locations, it’s definitely cause for excitement.
Now, one of the country’s most popular places to get a smoothie is betting big on Colorado.
Smoothie King Set to Increase Presence in Colorado by 60%
According to Verdict Food Service, Smoothie King is about to take a massive swing in Colorado.
The popular smoothie chain, which has over 1,200 locations across the country, currently only has 14 stores in Colorado.
However, they are beginning to rapidly expand across Colorado, looking to increase their presence by 60%.
They have already opened two new locations this fall, with those being in Longmont and Glendale.
However, there’s major plans to open locations in Highlands Ranch, Lafayette, Lakewood, Parker, Englewood, and Wheat Ridge.
The idea is to increase the amount of locations in this area over the next three years, and to establish a foothold in the area.
Does Smoothie King Live Up to the Hype?
Given they’re one of the biggest smoothie chains in the entire company, just barely behind Tropical Smoothie Café in terms of locations, one might think it’s not the best stuff.
However, Smoothie King is absolutely the real deal.
It’s gotten high marks from different magazine, including be the top ranked smoothie chain the country from both Eat This, Not That! and The Daily Meal.
The secret to their success is not only a massive menu that gives you plenty of different options, but also the fact that they are committed to using whole fruits and vegetables for all of their smoothies.
Not only does it make them taste amazing, but it’s healthier as well.
