Clucking Good News: El Pollo Opens Second Location In Colorado

Back in the day, El Pollo Loco used to have locations in Colorado, but it had been over two decades since their last Colorado location closed down, and they re-debuted in Colorado. Fast forward to the fall of 2022 when its return to Colorado officially happened. Now, nearly a year later, they're finally expanding and opening their second location.

Why Is El Pollo Loco In Coloraod So Good?

If you've never been to an El Pollo Loco, it has delicious, seasoned, Mexican-style grilled chicken. Think KFC as far as most of the sides go, but with a tasty Mexican twist, and their chicken is grilled and so, so tasty. They have about 500 locations in the United States with quite a few locations in California. Its return to Colorado last fall was a big deal, and fans are pumped for their second location to finally be open.

New El Pollo Loco In Colorado

The highly anticipated opening of El Pollo Loco's second Colorado location has arrived in Arvada. Located at 5480 Wadsworth, which is near I-70 and Wads, this new location opened its doors on Monday, October 30th, and has been cranking out awesome freshly grilled chicken daily since.

El Pollo Loco's expansion plans for Colorado include 15-20 restaurant locations total from Northern Colorado down to Colorado Springs by 2026. When El Pollo Loco's first Colorado location opened last November, we popped by to take a peak inside and try their awesome food. Here's a look back at that experience.
