What Is Lightning Mini-Golf?
A lot of people in my world, especially here at the radio station in Northern Colorado, love the game of golf. I've never gotten too much into it, though. My dad and brother love it, but the interest in golf completely skipped me.
Top Golf or Mini-golf? I'm down! I can beat just about anyone if I actually try.
I grew up in the north Denver area and spent many summer days and nights at Adventure Golf on Sheridan in Westminster, Colorado.

They have go-karts, bumper cars, mazes, and more, along with mini golf.
But what if you don't need all of the flash and just want something fun to do with the fam or friends in Northern Colorado?
That's where Lightning Mini-Golf, this incredible free mini-golf course, is taking Colorado by storm.
Where Is Lightning Mini-Golf?
Fort Collins, Colorado, is the home of the genius, free mini-golf courses that are a part of Lightning Mini Golf.

No ... it's multiple mini-golf courses built in front of people's houses on the space between the sidewalk and the street.
Coolest part? Lightning Mini Golf is free to anyone walking by and is open around the clock year-round.
Our friend Matt Gettig is the brain behind this genius concept, and it has gotten so popular that more holes are constantly being added to the mix.
