Many businesses aren't willing to offer a competitive wage that will properly compensate their employees for their time, but Hobby Lobby has seemingly had enough of struggling to find quality employees and has drastically raised the financial benefit of working there.

As of October 1st, 2024, Hobby Lobby stores have announced that they've raised the full-time minimum wage to $19.25 an hour. Hobby Lobby founder and CEO David Green said in a statement regarding the pay increase:

A pillar of our success is taking care of our employees. Inflation has negatively impacted nearly all businesses, individuals, and families over the past several years. We have worked hard to hold our prices down, and are thankful for our continued success as a company. As we head into the joyous holiday season, we are thrilled to share that success with thousands of our employees

This year's increase is the 13th minimum wage increase by the company in the last 15 years. There are still more than 10 local Hobby Lobby locations in Colorado with many full-time and seasonal positions available.
