Fort Collins Fun: Free Monday Night Movies In Old Town
Colorado summers mean getting outside after being cooped up. Fort Collins has a way to make the summer nights even more enjoyable with free movies every Monday night in Old Town Square.
For Over a Decade Folks Have Enjoyed Free Movies in Old Town
Put on by the Fort Collins Downtown Business Collective (DBC) in conjunction with the gang at Old Town Square's Ben & Jerry's, "Movie Nights in the Square" have entertained families and lovers of movies for over 10 years.

Think of all the movies that have shown since "Movie Nights in the Square" started; most of the movies are a bit older, so if you think about what might have been showing in the summer of 2016 you can picture 'Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory' being there, for sure.
More Than Movies on Mondays in Old Town Square
Of course, the DBC's objective is for the businesses in/around Old Town Square to get a little "Monday bump" with the free movie nights. With the movie starting at dusk, you can get down there with plenty of time to grab a bite at say, Coopersmith's (including the great rebirth of the pool hall across the alley) or Austin's before catching a movie.
You're going to need a little bit of ice cream, maybe a shake, from Ben & Jerry's to make the night "just right," so stop in there, then grab your spot, for at least one of the 14 free flicks, happening June 1 through August 31.
