It takes a lot of "chutzpah" to pass off a counterfeit bill, considering how much work the U.S. Treasury puts into making real ones. You could be seeing fake $20 bills floating around Colorado.

Maybe someone got a gift for Christmas, a 3-D printer, and they thought they'd make "use" of it, by printing off a bunch of "Jacksons."

Clearly, a 3-D printer has zero capability of making a real $20, but at least one person has a bunch of fakes, that they're passing off as the real deal.

Real $20 bills have several proprietary elements that are pretty easy to see, especially with an ultraviolet light, but these $20s, were pretty good... except for one thing. Right there, clear as day, instead of saying:

I'll be honest, If I was working at any small business and someone came in and paid with a few of these $20s, I don't think I'd notice the MONEY mistake, at all. I'd see Andrew Jackson, a couple of seals, and call it "good."

Who's to say where these fake $20s will be showing up next, in Colorado. Check your wallet/purse to make sure you haven't gotten one.
