Have you ever driven through a neighborhood in Colorado and seen a couch, or some other random furniture, plopped on the driveway next to the sidewalk? When I see something like this, it is more often than not on a Sunday afternoon or a Monday morning.

This furniture was likely being sold at a garage sale for a deal, but nobody took it home for a great price. Now, the furniture is listed as free, because the resident just wants it gone.
Finding Free Stuff in Colorado
There have been numerous occasions where I have scored free furniture at the curb. One of these items was a mini fridge years ago. Guess what? That mini fridge someone was getting rid of is still in my garage to this day, keeping my beer cold.

Why Denver May Be a Good Place to Look
Many of these pieces of furniture are in perfectly good condition; however, the homeowner or resident may not have the type of vehicle to take it and drop it off at a donation location such as Goodwill or Arc thrift stores. If you have an SUV, minivan, or truck, and require some free furniture for your place, Denver may just be the perfect place to get it for free, plus the cost of gas.
