This city initiative wants to remind residents to pick up after their dogs. A huge reason is, well, because it is gross. More importantly, dog waste can pollute the Poudre River and make our favorite swimming, fishing, and hiking spots overrun with bacteria.

I go to dog parks often, and I see a lot of owners ignore their dogs' waste. Don't be a jerk. Grab a plastic bag, and be kind to everybody around you.
