Did You Know There is a Colorado Zoo That has Dog Days?
If you are the type of person who loves to take your dog with you everywhere you go, you're my type of people. There are many places that allow dogs into their establishments, but there are some that do not. Take the zoo for example. You can't just bring your dog to the zoo whenever you like.
If you want to bring your dog to the zoo in Colorado, there is one way to do it. A Colorado zoo offers dog days on specific dates where you can bring your furry friend to visit all of the animals at the zoo.
The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo offers dog days on some days during the summer. If your dog would love to see giraffes, elephants, and all the other amazing animals at the zoo, you need to get on it because tickets sell very quickly.
Cheyenne Mountain Zoo Dog Days
There are two upcoming dates when you can bring your dog to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. Those dates are Tuesday, July 16, and Wednesday, July 31. You will need to buy your tickets in advance and there are some things you need to be aware of before bringing your dog to the zoo.
- Dogs must be up to date on rabies vaccinations
- Dogs must be on a leash at all times. Leashes must be no longer than 6 feet and no retractable leashes.
- One dog ticket is allowed per adult ticket.
- Each dog must be accompanied by a designated adult.
- Dogs must remain under human control and not behave in an aggressive or disruptive behavior.
- Dog only. No other pets are allowed.
