There is no doubt people love their pets. I've been a dog lover for as long as I can remember. This being the third mountain town I've lived in, I see dogs everywhere.

In 2022 there were 5 favorite dogs for Colorado. The Goldendoodle, Golden Retriever, Bernedoodle, Labrador Retriever, and French Bulldog.

What are some of the best dogs for Colorado?

For all the hiking and terrain it's no surprise big dogs are so popular. The Alaskan Malamute, Australian Shepard, Bernese Mountain dog, and Border Collie are pretty popular also.
